Re: Rising homelessness in Prince George.
I've read there's a rise in homelessness and the need for more food at the food bank. What's become of the increased homelessness and more food needed at the food bank these days? What's with the historic downtown Prince George area looking like it's becoming a "First Nations" reservation with the increasing homeless native people hanging around, begging for change and native females of all ages prostituting for drug money? This situation is way far out of control in our great city of Prince George that has a very bright future. What's our municipal, provincial and federal government gonna do besides spending millions of our tax dollars to buy properties to build homes for the homeless, buy buildings to turn into homeless shelters and give homeless people their own health clinics and perhaps their own "Government" agency for the homeless. What do we hard-working taxpayers get back in return? Lets say, we're given the opportunity to turn this great city of Prince George a chance to turn this city into a future home of the "Homeless". There's many places for the homeless to sleep, eat and beg for money in the downtown core of Prince George at our cost. Nevertheless, the drug dealers are flourishing off homeless female prostitutes for money they get from their sex for money, men begging for money, also sometimes beat up working people for money to support their drug habits, then there's break and entering for goods like electronics, jewelry's, stealing pets for ransom, etc. When will this stop? Who will stop this if not the politicians? The RCMP can only do so much since their budget is not big enough for a full blown attack on the drug trade in P.G. Mind the RCMP, I admire them for doing their very best they can with what little budget they have to crack down on as many criminal activities that goes on in Prince George. I think of all the homeless native and non native people who live on the streets of P.G. should be sent home to their families so they will be taken care of "At Their Home".
