Where are the "All Candidate Forums"? We do have an election coming up in a couple of weeks and I have not found a forum that was set up for the general public. Seems the forums I have heard about are more geared towards specific groups like Rotary, UNBC, Construction Association. I am neither of these. There are so many new faces on the list of councillors, how are we suppose to get to know them? I have no intention making my decision based on prepared articles in the newspaper or listening to canned speeches on TV. I want to see each of them in action. I want to see how they handle themselves. For the first time in my adult life, I don't feel like voting. I am not about to guess who I think is the right person, I want to make an informed decision and our City should make sure that the general public is given every opportunity to see and hear all candidates.

Editor's Note: There are two more open to the public next week. Candi-Dating goes at 7 p.m. Wednesday at the Prince George Public Library, allowing individuals to have two minutes of one-on-one time with each candidate using a "speed dating" format, numbers permitting. The Prince George Chamber of Commerce is hosting a forum for council candidates on Thursday at 7 p.m. at CNC.
