Why is the Kin Centre being demolished and a new one built when it would be less costly to refit the existing one? This money could be used to repave the horrific mess we call roads.

Who gives a tinkers dam what the city yard looks like anyway?
Like any tourist is going to go visit the city yard. Really. City council should give their head a shake.
Why is there talk about another arts centre for how many millions?
We have one, use that one. I've yet to see people leaking out the doors from it being overwhelmed with visitors. That money could also be used to repave our potholes.
When our potholes are being held together with little strips of pavement, common sense should prevail.
Priorities should be taken care of first, ie; roads, roads, roads. Lastly and I do mean very lastly, should the city yard be refurbished. You are all employees grossly overpaid by the taxpayers and we as taxpayers want the $2 million dollars spent on the roads and not on the comforts of city employees.
I would be overjoyed to read the paper one day and not have to read a story of our city council's gross misuse of taxpayers dollars. Perhaps you should ask us before you spend our money, raise our taxes (by the way, thanks for the $2000 leap in my tax bill). I really appreciated getting it after beating my car through the potholes.
