Prince George Citizen polled 868 Prince George Citizen readers and asked the question: Should the B.C. government share its decision-making powers over public lands with Indigenous groups?

The poll ran from January 31 to February 12. Of the 868 votes, we can determine that 494 are from within the community. The full results are as follows:

Yes, that's true reconciliation 19.43% local, 17.86% total    
Mostly yes, but the premier should retain veto power 8.70% local, 9.91% total

Results are based on an online study of adult Prince George Citizen readers that are located in Prince George. The margin of error - which measures sample variability - is +/- 3.31%, 19 times out of 20.
