More than half of the respondents in a recent Prince George Citizen online poll said they have less money than they did a year ago.
There were 1,309 responses to the poll, which ran from January 1 to 23, on the Citizen website.
Here are the overall results:
I have quite a bit more money than I did last year – 93 votes (7%)
I have a little bit more money than I did last year – 158 votes (12%)
About the same - 293 votes (22%)
Not sure – 43 votes (3%)
I have quite a bit less money than I did last year – 492 votes (38%)
I have a little bit less money than I did last year – 230 votes (18%)
