Our local MLAs, Shirley Bond and Mike Morris have done their duties in the provincial legislature very well, and I hope they are elected again.
But I don't think Christy Clark is a very good Premier. Allegations with serving the interests of people with deep pockets, being money minded, insulting First Nations people, disregarding unions, belittling people's concerns, challenging teachers, police, truckers etc., reducing government funding for higher education, enabling inflation but not adequately creating measures for people's sustenance and generally trivializing governance at the highest levels are a few of the elements of the legacy she's created till now.
I don't know if the Liberals should win again, but its frustrating to see that the NDP senior leadership is completely unknown and untested. Hence, though they promise big things, there is no real guarantee that they will carry their election-time promises out.
If the Liberals win, they surely must have another Premier. Let's say someone as mature as Shirley Bond. Or even Mike Morris would do.
