Today was a day that two patients on the paediatric floor had been waiting for.
The Prince George Cougars have a program that allows their players to come visit our sick kids on the paediatric floor and today was that day.
Boy what a wonderful morning it was for two of our patients who knew they were coming since Tuesday and that day was finally here.
Hudson Stremmel and Garrett Thiessen didn't just come, visit, say a few words and leave, no, these two wonderful guys joined our patients in the teen lounge for over an hour playing air hockey, fooseball and several Wii games where everyone played, laughed hard and shared a few jokes.
It was beyond great to see four "boys" just having fun and being goofy.
So, thank you Hudson and Garrett for making the long days of a hospital stay a little more exciting, for these patients. It is greatly appreciated.
