Prince George has much going for it. House prices are not unreasonably high, traffic flows, and people can get to and from work in minutes, instead of hours.
But some things could be better.
Driving in the city on dark, and rainy nights, it is difficult to know which lane one is in, because the paint marking the lines has long since disappeared. Is it because the contractor uses some cheap quick vanishing paint, so there will be work on repairing lanes more often?
In contrast, the painting on the highways going through town is still intact, indicating that they have used better quality paint.
Another thing that is annoying is the crows that have infested the city.
They seem to be everywhere, and of course have replaced any song birds that should be here. I believe if any song birds nests exist here the crows will soon find them, and eat the eggs, or young birds in them.
It is time Prince George hired a crow exterminator so we again can have the joy of hearing the song of robins, and other song birds, in the morning and evenings.
