Change needed in NHL, international hockey organization

I wonder if any other hockey fans feel a little bit jaded. . . .maybe like we were "had" by the early exit of our Vancouver Canucks during the 2013 Stanley Cup playoffs.

I wonder if any other hockey fans feel a little bit jaded. . . .maybe like we were "had" by the early exit of our Vancouver Canucks during the 2013 Stanley Cup playoffs. I find it strange that the Sedin twins couldn't score a goal to save their souls in that devastating first round. Yet, they did nothing but score one after another to win the world championship gold for their home country of Sweden.

I wouldn't go so far as to suggest the two - Henrik and Daniel - maybe couldn't wait to get themselves out of the Stanley Cup series so they could go home to become the big heroes of their own country, but it sure makes one wonder.

How about Team Canada in that world championship?

I wonder if the result would have been the same if the original starting team rosters had remained as such, without the NHL players streaming in.

Furthermore, I wonder what happens to the original roster players whose places are taken by the arriving NHL players. Are they simply benched to watch and wait? There's something wrong with this picture.

If I had the power and the say on the World Hockey organization, there would be some fast rules changes. The roster a country starts with would be the same one they end up with. I think that would be fair to all hockey nations.
