Canucks will rise again

It is so easy to be critical. For both the Bruins and Canucks to have attained the status to compete for Hockey's Treasure, the Stanley Cup - is an accomplishment in itself. Congratulations to the Bruins. They won.

For both the Bruins and Canucks to have attained the status to compete for Hockey's Treasure, the Stanley Cup - is an accomplishment in itself.

Congratulations to the Bruins. They won.

All the players gave it the best they had. Canucks head coach Alain Vigneault did his best for his players.

To quote Bruins goalie Tim Thomas in his response to a reporter: "I respect the Canucks. They are a fine team. Roberto Luongo is a great goalie."

At this stage of hockey history teams are under such tremendous pressure and have sustained injuries, some of a critical nature. Several of the Canucks participated in the final game, along with their hurts.

To quote the Hon. John Diefenbaker when his political career went awry: "I am wounded but I am not slain. I shall rise again." And he did.

Go Canucks Go. Tomorrow is another day.
