Recent letters to this paper following news of Ness Lake Bible Camp's policies have been fascinating.
I was unaware that this camp is part of a chain of similar camps, all of which, I presume, discriminate against those who do not follow their strict interpretation of God's will. How did this camp become part of such a chain?
I understand that the Campbell family, donors of the land on which the Ness Lake Bible Camp rests, intended that the future camp would provide a recreation space for less advantaged children of this area, without discrimination as to faith, race or other factors.
I stand to be corrected in this if wrong. Does anyone else know the history and terms of this donation?
