With great interest I read the letters concerning the bike lanes and the bylaw officers total ignoring your complaints. I have also been dealing with the bylaw office for three years regarding a neglected property next door to my home but finally conceded defeat and gave up resigned to living with the neglected property. I thought bylaw officers were an endangered species in Prince George, but one officer finally showed up yesterday. That was probably in response to my appearance at city hall on a different matter regarding this property and while there also took a minute to mention the terrible service I received from the bylaw department over this property. Prince George is a great place to live, but ignoring the residents who have valid complaints diminishes our reputation as a city where residents are encouraged to participate in helping Prince George flourish.
