I wanted to share with readers a shining example of why we in the Prince George area should always do our best to shop and buy local.
Two years ago, we purchased two lovely leather recliners from Northern Hardware. We had good use of them until the end of November, when one of the chair's recline mechanism seemed to pack it in. On phoning The Northern for help, they immediately agreed to pick up the chair from our out-of-town address. They had it fixed and returned to us the very next day. Just after Christmas the same chair was again not reclining. They came and picked up the chair and returned it fixed the same day. There was no charge for all this stellar service.
I have always bought our furniture from The Northern, knowing it is a locally owned business that always gives good service, stands behind its products, and does not charge an arm and a leg for them. Now, more than ever, I have seen my faith vindicated. We were dealt with superbly from start to finish, and I recommend all Prince George residents give their business to this great and long-established local company.
