Bullying isn't just in school hallways

For a few years now we have been trying to stop bullying in the schools. This was supported by government - by setting aside a day for this and wearing pink shirts.

How are we going to stop bullying if when we turn on the TV or radio we see and hear attack ads directed to one person? This is bullying.

This not only happens with government, but also in the workplace mostly with those in higher positions. I'm not sure if it's because of insecurity or they have to show employees who is the boss.

A happy workplace is more productive.

Our children are learning from adults how to bully - at home, summer employment, attack ads, and not just from other children.

Government is one of the most visible examples. When discussing new contracts they create a new bill or tear up old contracts to suit their own needs. This is bullying.

I think future politicians and employees have to think before they act if they're going to stop bullying.
