You are perceived to have broken the public trust and regardless of your good intentions (or not), people who have lost faith in you, feel betrayed.
I am sure that you Colin, and Gordon Campbell have had lots of good intentions, and great ideas borne of genius, but once you have taken that leap beyond where we are, you may have lost some people forever.
If you don't care if you lose some people, that just widens the gap and you have put your principles before people.
For good or bad it is people who have put you in your job and it is people who will withdraw their trust from you.
As you tread through the colourful minefield of B.C. politics, be careful where you step.
