Kids, water, fishing and summer go together. Last year there was a marvelous dock set up at Eena Lake. It was a wonderful place for families and and late afternoon fishers and perhaps, unfortunately, a few late-night rowdies.
That lovely little gem of a lake and it's small beach has been a great place for summer fun for many years. Now the dock is no more.
Where and why has it gone?
The persistent rumor has it that the builders of that new house adjacent to the beach have complained and so the dock has not been put out this year. This is totally unfair. A few newcomers are ruining the enjoyment of many. They knew they were building next to a public access point to the lake and took the risk of building in an area used for many years by families and partygoers alike.
Please, if you want that dock back, write and ask for it to be restored.
And someone please let the public know the background on this story.
