Bricks on roundabout not a fix

I want to bring up the repair job at the roundabout at Cameron Street bridge. It was bad enough that the bricks were put in there in the first place, leaving a narrow lane for large trucks to drive through the roundabout.

I want to bring up the repair job at the roundabout at Cameron Street bridge. It was bad enough that the bricks were put in there in the first place, leaving a narrow lane for large trucks to drive through the roundabout.

But now that the bricks broke out, it looks absolutely terrible that the city paved the broken spots. Why was it not repaired properly by replacing the bricks?

Does the mayor or city council even care what our city looks like?

If we are going to put all that money into making our city look nice, why not continue to do that with any repairs. I think it looks terrible and was a cheap way out.
