You say that Prince George tap water is safe to drink, but did you ever stop and think how many people have wells in this area, rather than city water. In our area the water is high in iron and other minerals from our deep well and even after running it through a softener and filter system it still tastes awful.
People in rural areas often buy bottled water because of this, but most people still save the bottles and recycle them (as most of us are still watching the bottom line). Maybe think about the area you live in before complaining about the sale of bottled water.
