In reply to Lorna Waghorn-Kidd's article on April 10, 2014 titled "Time to play another round of 'where's my MLA/MP?'" I wanted to take a moment to point out the support received by Minister Shirley Bond for the Future Cents program. This program was a federally funded program that provided pre-employment for young people who have multiple barriers to employment. This program ran for 16 years.
Throughout those years, Minister Shirley Bond was always an advocate for this program. She is one of the hardest working MLAs I know, and spends countless hours responding to her constituents and attending events.
