There is currently a blockade in Tl'azten Nation near Fort St. James preventing chief and council from entering the band office. The people of Tl'azten are not at all satisfied with the current chief and councilors who are put in place by the band member to make decisions that effect everyone living on or off reserve. They are not listening to the voices of our people who are trying to make a difference to our Nation. We would like to ask Tl'azten's band member on or off reserve to please come to a band members meeting and share your thoughts and opinions on our current situation on Feb., 17 taking place at the Eugene Joseph school in Tachie at 10 a.m.
