All these complaints of a city worker strike. If something effects you, you complain about it. If you feel your wage is too low or your job security is not there you strike to save it.
The plain facts are the city administration voted themselves a 30 per cent pay increase,and they cant afford a two per cent raise for city workers. The city hires a consulting company for $300,000 dollars to see where they can save money but not one of the suggestions was to cut some of the fat from the city administration. In fact they hired more help for the city planner. Did someone in the family need a job.
The plan for city hall next year will probably include the laying off of city workers, and privatize some of their jobs.
Big government creates bigger problems.
