I am wishing to send a huge thank you to the Prince George Pain Control Clinic located in the Native Friendship Centre. This clinic is run by volunteers and funded by donations. I have a fear of dentists stemming way back. I went to the clinic on Sept. 14 and had to take a medication to be able to sit in the chair. Gloria is the nurse that greeted me warmly at the door and the staff that worked along side her was phenomenal. I had to attend the clinic one more time and was unable to take the medication but I thought I would give it a go. I got there and was immediately reassured that if I needed them to stop or just needed a minute I could have it. I would like to especially thank Gloria, Darlene, and Dr.Tess you have helped me get past a fear I have carried for 25 years by simply being kind and patient.
