Re: Jean Leeson's letter regarding that ugly and most unsightly berm on Highway 16 between Ferry Avenue and the casino.
It was a pleasure to my sore eyes to finally see that there is actually someone else in Prince George that sees this incredibly unsightly eyesore as I've been seeing for an endless period time. And now that there are two of us, there must surely be hundreds, if not thousands, of others?
I actually think this berm is an embarrassment to all those new commercial businesses that have just established along this same stretch of road.
I drive this part of the highway quite frequently.
Each time that berm catches my attention I wonder how embarrassing can this be to all of us here in our proud City of Prince George?
Of course I haven't driven in the neighbourhood on the other side of this unsightly pig sty to know whether it's just as bad looking there as it is on this side but surely, surely, with so many on staff at city hall, there has got to be someone there that can see and realize what a incredibly ugly eyesore this is to the whole of the city.
We need to rectify it before it actually does become our laughing stock and embarrassment of the decade.
And where is the visibility of our proud Mr. PG now?
Who's responsible for that?
