I've recently attended two hockey games at the Kal Tire Center in Vernon where - gasp - they sell beer and wine and have for years. No one died, the crowd was well behaved and both evenings were quite civilized. Better yet, two weeks ago we saw the Spruce Kings beat the hometown Vipers.
It would appear to me that when it comes to the sale of booze to adults the only demonstrated immature behavior is from some members of city council.
