BC Hydro's current rip-off scheme.
Yes, what BC Hydro is now doing to the people by penalizing them for using its electricity is more than just a bait and switch practice from the 1970s, as the other writer to The Citizen put it so mildly, on April 7.
To me it's a straight, outright, dirty, fraudulent scam! I have complained directly to BC Hydro on more than one occasion about this, but, of course, all to no avail. Except one person did respond by saying that everyone in the province was being charged (scammed) the same like this. Of course!
I'm on electric heat at my house in the city - not rural - but that's immaterial to the way BC Hydro is penalizing and scamming us for being on electric heat, and having to use more power throughout our cold winter months than we can get away with in summer.
Being penalized by BC Hydro for needing and using this extra power, where can there possibly be any justification or sanity to a corrupt system such as this... which BC Hydro is now under and practicing?
And for this, we will re-elect our wise and generous government when we go to the polls next month for it all.
