After seeing a picture of the new look Royal Bank building, I can't believe how ugly it looks. When Prince George was being built, it seemed that square box building was the norm as this was the fastest way to get a building up. That's why the city doesn't have much architectural beauty.
It was here for the forest industry, so let's slab a bunch of hotels and stores together and call it a day. Well, that was then. Today, people are looking for something with a little style, and the Royal Bank building had some of that. Now, its regressed back to the square box we've been trying to escape from.
