Recycling in P.G.: I thought I was the only one who has had a bad experience. Last week I faithfully put out my bins one on top of the other to keep the rain out of the newspapers (my bad, my bad, since inception on my recycling day, it has rained) to keep the newspapers from getting wet.
That afternoon I find my papers strewn like dominoes on the lawn and completely soaked by that time,too - perfect for kids to do this, me thinks, but okay. I gathered all and took them to the city recycling depot for paper products. I am now wondering if there was a note attached somewhere to correct my bad. One bin with wheels makes sense to this retired person.
