Ho-friggen-ho. After years of cojoling my wife finally dragged me to the Farmers Market today. I had a great time. There were lots of interesting wares for sale, buskers and a welcoming environment that I've never seen in downtown P.G. before. Much to our chagrin, after dropping $200 we found upon returning to our vehicle that we had been ticketted. There was no "no parking" sign and no yellow curb paint. I suppose the lesson that I take away from this is that if I want to visit the Market in future I should budget for a "Parking Stipend". Apparently this has been going on forever. Good Job City of P.G.! Way to build some of that "down-town pride" that you civic-minded idiots are always harping about. We are contesting the ticket, by the way and have photos to boot...
