What a pleasant start to the day to open the Citizen and read that the Prince George Library Skylab, which we had designed, took top honors in the Northern B.C. Commercial Building Awards.
Unfortunately no acknowledgement of the architects or contractor was part of the article.
This would seem to be similar to a book award being announced without acknowledging the author.
The initial vision for this project was entrusted to us by the Prince George Library. Chernoff Thompson Architects North, along with the General Contractor IDL Projects Inc. were able to translate that vision into an award-winning project that the library and the community can be proud of.
Perhaps, future articles can provide the appropriate attribution for the design and construction of these projects.
