Most of the time I offer opinions on much larger issues but every so often a local dilemma exemplifies our innate humanities. These incidents prove again and again the indomitable human spirit. The decision by the Marsolais clan to use their helicopter service in the rescue of "Lucy" the German Shepherd from an obvious uncertain future is a perfect example. I applaud their generosity of spirit.
