Andrew Weaver of the Greens needs to look at the big picture.
Yes, these LNG terminals and the extraction of the gas will emit carbon dioxide in high numbers but by having this industry it will keep our world environment cleaner.This is because they're eliminating a far dirtier substance in the burning of coal. China and other countries need our liquified natural gas to make their skies cleaner for their citizen's health. Their coal fired boilers are easy to convert to natural gas by simply using the window openings built in for the coal firing.
Andrew, you would be doing a disservice to all of us in the world.You're going to try and put back the Liberals into power even thought they steamrolled you at will. By building up the LNG industry, you're cleaning up everybody's air that we all breath. What you should be concerned about as well is our CO2 emmitions, which is absolutely nothing compared to what you're achieving for our mother Earth by getting the LNG to market.
We all borrow this Earth from our children. We need to make it right for them.
