In a few weeks the BC Government will be asked to release 60 permits to allow Enbridge to drive a pipeline across Northern BC.
The pipeline will traverse 1100 rivers and lakes to get to the coast.
The pipeline will cross the Stuart Rver, which feeds the aquifer that the city of Prince George derives its fresh drinking water.
Any oil spill into this river will destroy our drinking water forever.
Enbridge has a notorious history of pipeline oil spills.
I am urging Premier Christy Clark to protect the health of the citizens of Northern BC by refusing to allow this pipeline to be built.
I wish for clean air, water and lands for my children and their children.
I beg you to listen to the people of BC, who are so opposed to this pipeline.
