I am a physician working with Native peoples and teaching in a university course on climate change. I applaud you for publishing the concerns of local doctors regarding the Tar Sands pipeline's impacts on health and the environment. We are all affected, here in Toronto and globally, by this misguided pursuit of very short-term profit for a few people at the expense of our future as people on this planet.
