Act of generosity appreciated

This letter is directed to the woman who paid for my groceries at Superstore on April 1 around 5 p.m.

I hope you read this letter because you turned that day from making fools of people to one of gratitude.

There is graciousness in both, giving and receiving.

You certainly made my day.

You did fool me in a most unbelievable way when the cashier told me you will get my bill.

I thought 'All Fools Day.'

I had already given her the payment for my groceries. To my surprise, she returned my money, when you said, "I will get your bill."

All I can say is, thank you for your kindness to a total stranger, a senior citizen, who is on fixed income.

I appreciate what you did.

I had to tell everyone what happened to me at the grocery store. In All Fools Day, I hope someone returns the kindness to you in some surprising way to make your day.

Thanks again.
