Ideologies are theories about human culture and life.
They are identified by statements and tenets collectively referred to as doctrines and accepted by the ideologue as gospel truths.
Most ideologies end with the letters "ism", such as socialism, capitalism, racism,
federalism, feminism, etc.
Your religion is what you believe. If a person believes the doctrines, then the ideology becomes their religion, or at least a part of their religion.
Capitalism is the religion that has money (capital) as its central focus.
Our freedom in Canada is becoming more and more threatened by people with wealth who spend their money on the purchase of power.
The dictatorship of money in politics is destroying our democracy at all government levels; municipal, provincial and federal.
This manipulative control leads to ever increasing social and civil unrest, such as Occupy Wall Street.
To maintain a stable society in which all citizens may freely and fully participate, the wealthy citizens will have to start to pay the true cost of their personal beliefs, else we lose our individual freedoms to moneyed power blocks and eventually descend deeper and deeper into anarchy and chaos.
