Leave it to The Citizen, to open my eyes

And then to tear them back up

With an article about a fantastic guy

Soon to be a year without David Mah being here

A pillar in our community, an upstanding guy

It's hard to type and hold back a cry

He lived his life to the fullest, there was nothing he would not try

A man that stayed active, no reason to die

We wipe away our tears, and ask that question once again, why?

Why David, a man on the go, just goes to show, you never know

You have seen him here, you saw him there, you have seen him everywhere

Non-stop David, keeping in shape, never knowing cancer was to seal his fate

So many heroes in our community, one of the most popular was David Mah

Now a memory, so many we have, as we get older, seems each day we feel sad

We miss you David, we believe you're now active in a better place

As you were a big part of making Prince George for us, a hell yeah place.

Terry Bonnar,

Prince George
