I would like to commend your newspaper for following up on this important story of the social worker at the Ministry of Children and Family Development.
Ed Berry had been a high profile manager in charge of child and youth mental health, as well as child protection services with MCFD, and I had consulted to one of the clinics he managed.
His style of management had caused most of the mental health staff to resign and I was therefore very interested to find out what happened to him. The Prince George Citizen was the only web-site that produced any information on his long drawn-out court case and conviction. We need journalists who can follow up and hold people accountable for their actions.
