Regarding pedestrians, they need to play their part as well.
It would be nice if pedestrians would wear reflectors or lighter clothing when out in the evening or early mornings.
Monday morning I was on my way to work at around 7:20 a.m. and while driving down Fifth Avenue, I noticed a lady trying to cross this busy street. She was standing by the meridian in the middle of the road waiting for cars to stop. I never noticed her until I was right there at the crosswalk, as she was dressed all in dark clothing.
The roads are dark and black at that time of day so she was very hard to see. If someone would have hit her, it would be the driver's fault!
Please play your part and wear proper clothing during these times.
