A lack of knowledge can be a dangerous thing

RE: Long-gun registry only start of license abolition, Sept. 27, 2010, Todd Whitcombe, Special to The Citizen

After reading the above mentioned article by Todd Whitcombe it becomes apparent why so many NDP members of parliament voted to retain the firearms registry. Because they don't have a clue what the difference is between a firearms license and a firearms registry.

You would think that someone, like Todd Whitcombe, who has political aspirations would take the time to educate themselves on a particular subject before writing such an absurd opinion on something they obviously have no knowledge about.

He calls the attempt to abolish the long gun registry "wedge politics".... unfortunately the Prince George Citizen wouldn't print the description I would apply to his opinion of Sept. 27.
