I am so grateful to Wayne Desmond, Forest Protection Office and his great crew.
Back in July a lightning fire stated in the Tucha Lake area. It took off very strong and went on for two months.
Wayne and his crew risked their lives saving my remote cabin. Without them being there, I would have lost my cabin and all my possessions. They are a great credit to British Columbia and all the good people I met under very bad fire conditions.
Also to the good people of the Native First Nation Indian Village of "Tsay Keh Dene" and of the RCMP, Patrick and Tony and also to Steve who flew me out in his helicopter. You are the best.
