A recent column by Nathan Geide expressed the fact that Conservatives espouse law and order.

Given that the current federal and Liberal provincial governments are as conservative as any, here are a few of my thoughts. Why aren't the feds releasing yearly, detailed audits of all the MPs, just like they're making the native band leaders do? Why aren't the provincial Liberals docking the education minister's salary while he's ignoring a court ruling? He's doing nothing, just like the teachers! Is education no longer a priority for the Liberals and, in particular, for former Education Ministers Christy Clark and Shirley Bond? They're silent.

Is Fassbender's $40 a day allowance a return to socialism or just vote buying? Are parents on shift work eligible for this handout even if they don't currently use daycare? As law and order go, didn't the Liberals buy a verdict in the B.C. Rail case? Didn't they actively block testimony limiting the ability of a fair trial for the two defendants?

And what about the food programs in school for hungry children? Those kids won't be in school to eat!

Back to the feds. Why hasn't the Harper government explained its firing of cabinet minister Helena Guergis? Were her actions so criminal in nature that they needed to be buried? Haven't the Conservatives committed crimes by limiting freedom of speech of federal scientists, the head of Elections Canada, as well as Statistics Canada?

Why is Tony Clements not expected to supply a paper trail for 50 million tax dollars spent in his riding? Peter McKay, Allison Redford, Patrick Brazeau, Pamela Wallin, and Mike Duffy all feed from the same trough and are all Conservative. And what of the treatment of Maher Arar, Mark Emery, and Omar Khadr.

Need I say more?
