The Olympics in Montreal cost all Canadian citizens 50-plus years of pension fund reduction.
The Olympics in Vancouver has cost many their low-rent homes and will cost all citizens of B.C. untold years of excessive taxes.
Now the P.G.-hosted Canada Winter Games will cost as yet unknown additional amounts of local city tax increases to the citizens of Prince George.
In my opinion the future of our city looks grim. And all for a few days of game play.
