A big thanks

Thank you to Arlene at Costco. I withdrew $100 from the ATM at Costco then walked away without retrieving my money. When I realized what I had done later that evening, I called Costco to see if, by chance, someone found my money and turned it in.

Thank you to Arlene at Costco.

I withdrew $100 from the ATM at Costco then walked away without retrieving my money. When I realized what I had done later that evening, I called Costco to see if, by chance, someone found my money and turned it in.

To my surprise and delight, I was told that a very honest employee of Costco did, in fact, find my money and turned it in. When I tried to give a reward I was told, "No thank you, it would be against Costco policy to accept money under these circumstances."

I would just like to thank Arlene from the bakery at Costco for choosing work pride and integrity over personal gain. You are one in a million. I almost didn't call Costco because I didn't believe anyone would turn in the money if they found it. How did I get so jaded? Thank you for a wonderful reminder that great people exist and choose to do the right thing (even above and beyond the right thing).

I hope you have a great day Arlene knowing what a special person you are.
