I would like to send kudos to a couple of entrepreneurs in our city. My husband, myself and seven of our friends just returned from the 'Tour de Jasper' four-day bicycle trip.
Nicole Leblanc, founder of the tour, did a fantastic job of organizing 14 riders ranging from 30 to 70 years old. Nicole's father has been part of the six-person support crew for 11 years. They transported our camping gear, set up their cooking tents and equipment to provide us with fantastic breakfasts and gourmet dinners.
Last but not least is Mark from Ruckus Bike's, he inspected our bikes every morning before our ride, met us halfway to our next camp with water, fruit and helped with bike issues. When we came in from our average 5 1/2 hour ride he was there again to assist with any bike problems. Nicole and Mark are helping people learn how to bike tour and, for us old folks that have been doing it for decades, carrying our load for us. Thanks to both of you for helping make Prince George a great place to live.
