Thank-you Prince George for helping Audrey fight cancer.
A giant thank-you to the people of Prince George for supporting the Helping Audrey Fight Cancer event Saturday night. The family now has more than $12,000 to help pay for flights, medications and other related expenses for their four year old. I have heard many times how wonderful Prince George can be when someone is in need. The community really came together for this family with silent auction items, cash donations, and much more. A big thank you to Westjet for the trips for two, BK Two-way radio for the Jasper trip, Canadian Tire, Dominos pizza and many more. There were hundreds of other people who donated, thank you for your contributions large and small!
Cancer is very difficult to face at any age. Thank you for directly helping this four-year-old girl in the only way we can today, financially. A well, remember we have more than money to give to help cancer patients, blood donation and registration with OneMatch - stem cell and marrow network.
