In the early morning hours of Saturday the local RCMP set a bait vehicle at the corner of Seventh Avenue and Brunswick Street that had several items in it, including two rifle cases.
Downtown Safety Unit frontline officers located and arrested one adult female found inside the vehicle after she had already taken items and was going back for more.
The following charges have been approved by the B.C. Prosecution Service for Virginia Anne Denning, 36, of Prince George:
* Theft under $5000
Denning is in custody and scheduled to appear in provincial court in Prince George on Oct. 30.
