Updated: Hydro outages around Prince George

There is a series of power outages in and around Prince George due to the snow fall experienced Friday. The biggest outage affected 2,945 houses east of Foothills Blvd.

There is a series of power outages in and around Prince George due to the snow fall experienced Friday.

The biggest outage affected 2,945 houses east of Foothills Blvd., south of Turner Road, west of Shelley Road and north of PG Pulp Mill Road, because a tree had fallen across the wires. But this outage has been fixed.

Crews have been called out and are working several other problems.

Reported earlier this morning are outages east of Beaver Forest Road that affects 136 homes and that's been fixed.

East of Kluss Road and south west of Cranbrook Hill Road there are 46 homes affected and this one is still under investigation.

There are five homes affected on Eagle Crest Road and another five on Glendale Road.

Earlier outages include Dawson Road and those affected now have their power back up.
