RCMP have reported Tuesday's break and enter as a home invasion in the 4700 block of Hill Avenue that took place just after 6:30 a.m.
Local police are still looking for the primary resident of the residence, James Andrew Schooley, 43, to ensure his well being.
When officers arrived at the scene they discovered a recent home invasion.
Witness reports stated multiple suspects fled the scene before police arrived.
Police believe this to be a targeted event and there is no risk to the public.
If anyone in the area has video surveillance or saw any suspicious activity police are asking to be contacted.
The Prince George RCMP are asking Schooley to contact the detachment by calling 250-561-3300.
