The City of Prince George is facing a roughly $6.8 million budget shortfall for 2021, thanks to the COVID-19 pandemic, and is seeking public input on what the top priorities should be.
Mayor Lyn Hall will be hosting an online town hall meeting on Zoom on Tuesday evening, as part of the city's annual Talktober initiative. The virtual town hall will run from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. and residents can register to take part by going online to www.princegeorge.ca/getinvolved.
It will also be streamed live on the city's Facebook page.
Residents can email questions for Hall in advance to email@example.com, or submit questions by phone by calling 311.
The city is also conducting an online survey until midnight on Nov. 8. The survey can be found online by going to www.princegeorge.ca/getinvolved.
