Suspect questioned in fatal stabbing

Prince George RCMP have identified a suspect in Thursday's fatal stabbing in front of the courthouse.

In a statement issued Monday, RCMP said a woman was arrested and interviewed. She was subsequently released pending further investigation and file disclosure to the BC Prosecution Service.

A 26-year-old woman died in hospital from injuries suffered in the confrontation. RCMP were called to the scene at 10 p.m.

The case remains a priority for the detachment, RCMP said, and are asking everyone who may have witnessed this incident or have information to contact the detachment.
